When Microsoft brought out its new mobile platform, several phone manufacturers were quick to jump onto the bandwagon with their own versions of the Windows Phone 8. However, while Nokia and Samsung were both concentrating on size and premium products, HTC brought a series of phones to the market that offered a more compact design and less powerful hardware, but which still had all the advantages of the Microsoft platform. However, fast forward a few years and you'll see that HTC no longer produce Windows phones and needless to say, this particular model has not held its value at all, so if you're looking to sell your HTC Windows Phone 8S, you're likely to be in for a bit of a disappointment.

Despite the fact that this handset is less than four years old, you're not going to get anything like what you originally paid for it. In fact, you're unlikely to get much for it at all - with recycling companies who are prepared to buy it from you, only offering prices in the single figures. However, one consolation is that you'll be doing your bit for the environment if you choose to recycle your old Windows phone via one of the phone recycling companies listed in our comparison chart, rather than simply throwing it out with the rubbish. Take a look at the chart now and see who is prepared to take your HTC Windows Phone 8S off your hands, and how much they'll be prepared to give you for it. As you can see, it's hardly worth shouting about, but at least it won't cost you anything to send your phone to them, and you'll get enough in return to buy you a half decent cup of coffee.

If you've decided to recycle your phone through one of our phone recyclers, simply find the deal that you prefer, click on the 'sell now' icon and get the show started. Your chosen recycler will send you suitable packaging so that your phone can be sent safely, and they'll even pay the postage. Once it arrives at its destination, your chosen recycler will pay out in accordance with the payment dates detailed in the table - that's really all there is to it .. oh except for choosing how you want to receive your money - whether you prefer to receive a cheque or have the monies transferred directly into your bank account.

So don't sit there moping - take some action and recycle your old phone today. As you're probably aware, mobiles and batteries are full of toxins and contaminants which you wouldn't want to end up in landfill. You have a choice about how you recycle your HTC Windows Phone 8S, so make sure that you choose the responsible method.
