The Selling Experience

At CompareAndRecycle.com, we do our best to bring you up to the minute information on all the best mobile phone recycling merchants and we also try to compare as many aspects of the price and user experience that we can collate.

Recycling phones has become a massive business in recent years and many mobile recyclers have developed slick services that automate the entire process. From the time you log in and make your selection, your trade can be tracked and recorded.

It is true to say that some users can sometimes report difficulties when using any provider ranging from, lost in post, to arrived in damaged condition. We always recommend that you use registered or recorded delivery if you are sending property of substantial value by post.

Whilst many providers do offer prices for slightly damaged and non-working phones, realistically, they cannot seriously evaluate a phone until they have seen it.

To help understand many of the issues and problems sometimes encountered on both sides of the transaction, it is important that we collect as much feedback from both consumers and providers.

For our part, we try to assess whether the merchant appears to have a fair and successful policy of remuneration and whether they have a high completion rate on the trades that they agree. The last thing this industry needs is bad press and poor user reviews and we try to ensure that the user has a rewarding experience by pointing them in the right direction.

On the other hand, we also encourage our consumers to be realistic and honest with themselves about the condition of the goods they are sending. We also collect data for our merchants and report back to them on your ideas for improving their over all service.

Everybody in the loop should benefit from seeking to continuously improve this process and in turn, this will benefit the environment, any charities involved, the third world countries who import our re-usables and most importantly, you, the customer.

There's One Issue With 5G We Can't Ignore

5G hype is everywhere, but it isn't just going to have a colossal impact on mobile connectivity speed and wireless networks. It will also dramatically boost the rates of mobile phone waste if smartphone owners continue to be apathetic about smartphones' collective impact on the environment.

After years of silence, it looks as though Essential are ready for a new chapter and it is going to be an attempt to shake up the industry once again.
