Rumours point to new iPhone being gold, could it be true?

goldiphoneTo some the iPhone is ultimate smartphone while others see it as a far cry from what they want from a mobile device. One thing can be agreed by all though, the iPhone is a very attractive piece of hardware in more ways than one, not only is it well built and comfortable to hold but it also looks great.

For a while the iPhone only came in black but when the white version was released it gave customers the chance to try something a bit different. Since then many manufacturers have started releasing white versions of their handsets and it would make sense for Apple to try something a bit different.

Releasing a gold coloured phone could be considered a bit questionable, while there may be a market for it, many are sure to find it very tacky and there could be a backlash from customers. Some are suggesting that the rumoured gold iPhone could actually be more champagne coloured than gold which certainly sounds more plausible.

With the announcement of the next iPhone growing every closer we won’t have to wait too long to find out if the rumours are true. Many xpect the announcement of a cheaper iPhone on September 10th alongside the successor to the iPhone 5 which is rumoured to have features such as a fingerprint sensor and increased storage capacity.
