Orange and T-Mobile Network Sharing Now Live

About a month ago Orange and T-Mobile announced that customers of both companies would be able to switch between the two networks depending on which provided better coverage at the time. The service has now gone live and those who signed up to get early access now have the opportunity to increase their network coverage.

Here at Compare and Recycle we’ve signed up and tried out the new service. Everything seems to work just fine and the process was very simple. We’d recommend that all Orange and T-Mobile customers sign up and try it out. There are no extra costs and it should increase your network coverage, so there’s nothing to lose.

At the moment only 2G access is available when roaming but full 3G service is planned in the future. It’s still possible to register for access so if you’re experiencing poor coverage from either T-Mobile or Orange sign up through the website of your current network and perhaps your signal issues will become a thing of the past.
