LG Optimus 7 Revealed

It seems there are Windows Phone 7 devices being leaked all over the place at the moment. In fact if things continue as they are then Microsoft may end up with nothing new to show us at their Windows Phone 7 launch later today. Still it’s great to get an early look at the handsets we’ll be getting our hands on in the coming months.

The latest leak is the LG Optimus 7, the latest in the Optimus range and revealed to the world by none other than LG themselves.

Posted on the official UK LG blog before being quickly removed the LG Optimus 7 looks much like many of the other Windows Phone 7 devices we’ve seen already. While it would be nice to see a handset that stands out from the crowd the generic Windows Phone 7 look is pretty attractive so you won’t be hearing too many complaints from us.

The specifications of the Optimus 7 are similar to what we’ve been seeing from other WP7 devices. The screen is a decent 3.8″, there’s a 5MP camera with LED flash and all the other usual suspects such as a proximity sensor and 3.5mm headphone socket are all present.

Here at Compare and Recycle we’re getting pretty excited about the launch of Windows Phone 7 are we’re actually dreading having to make the choice between Android, iOS, BlackBerry OS and Windows Phone 7. The Optimus 7 is another decent looking WP7 handset and while we’re yet to see something truly jaw-dropping in the Windows Phone 7 range it’s very encouraging that we’ve not yet seen any real duds either.
