iPhone 6s is the fastest selling iPhone yet

The iPhone 6 did incredibly well in the first three days after it launched, selling 10 million units. That sounds impressive enough but the iPhone 6s has gone and blown that record away selling 13 million units! Despite looking identical to the previous model the iPhone 6s offers new features such as 3D Touch and the new rose gold colour is sure to be tempting many female users to upgrade. Most importantly however the iPhone 6s launched in China at the same time as Europe and the US helping to boost early sales.

So far the iPhone 6s is only available in 12 countries with another 40 joining the part in October and people in 130 countries will able to get their hands on the iPhone 6s by the end of the year. It doesn’t seem likely there will be a hue slump in sales a few months down the line so the iPhone 6s looks set to go on and sell in massive quantities just like its predecessors did. To put things into perspective the Samsung Galaxy S6, which is one of the most popular Android phones sold just 6 million units in the first few weeks after being released.
