Apple Co-Founder Believes Android Will Dominate

Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, believes that despite the strength of the iPhone, Android will eventually dominate the mobile market in the same way Windows dominates desktop computing.

Wozniak says that although the iPhone has few major flaws and leads the market in terms of quality Android will win in the long run. He puts it down to the greater amount of choice available to Android users.

He makes a lot of sense, after all the iPhone has to go up against hundreds of rival phones running Android which offer a lot of variety. There are low budget Android handsets, high-end models, phones with massive screens, more pocket friendly devices and the number of different combinations of features means there’s an Android mobile phone to suit just about anyone.

Wozniak states that he believes over time Android will gain the quality, consistency and user satisfaction to match iOS. If that time comes then surely many iPhone users will make the switch to Android and we just hope they do the right thing and use a mobile phone recycling company to dispose of their old mobile.
